Week 6: Top 5 Fantasy Quarterbacks

Published: October 10, 2016

Tom Brady’s first game against the Cleveland Browns was a success. Both his Fantasy owners and Pats Nation were pleased with what they saw. Speaking of players coming off suspensions having significant impacts, Ben Roethlisberger has been unstoppable since the return of Le’Veon Bell. Coincidence? I think not.

So, how did our Week 5 QB projections do?

Matt Ryan: 14 points

Tom Brady: 29 points

Ben Roethlisberger: 29 points

Kirk Cousins: 12 points

Phillip Rivers: 26 points

We had the help of some pretty big games in Week 5. In Week 6, we will once again have some big games from our picks. So, let’s meet our Week 6 top 5 Fantasy quarterbacks:

Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers had an early bye, and it worked to their advantage in Week 5 against the New York Giants. In Week 6, the Packers face off against another NFC East team, and Aaron Rodgers will have a huge game.

Though the Dallas Cowboys have played much better this season, their defense is still average at best, and the Packers high-powered offense will be too much for them to handle.

Andrew Luck

The Indianapolis Colts like to win games in the fourth quarter. In fact, they like to be down by at least one score and then go crazy in the final minutes. In Week 6 against the Houston Texans, Luck and Co. will most likely find themselves throwing the ball late in the game.

Ben Roethlisberger

As mentioned earlier, since the return of Le’Veon Bell, Big Ben has been unstoppable. With the emergence of Sammie Coates as a deep threat, the Pittsburgh Steelers offense is red hot.

In Week 6, the Steelers face the Miami Dolphins who week after week make opposing offenses look great. In Week 5, Marcus Mariota of the Tennessee Titans scored 30 Fantasy points.

Roethlisberger’s Fantasy owners can expect 30+ points from him this week.

Blake Bortles

In Week 6, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play the Chicago Bears. The Bears defense is inconsistent, and the Jaguars offense can score lots of points.

With the help of Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns, look for Blake Bortles to have a big game.

Tom Brady

Well, it was inevitable that Tom Brady would be on this list. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and with him at the helm, the Patriots offense is almost unstoppable.

To be honest, this projection is more about his team rather than just him. With two big-time tight ends, good receivers and several rushing threats, the Patriots offense is too much for any team to handle.

Brady will follow up his 400+ yard passing performance with another big game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
