Week 7: Top 5 Fantasy Quarterbacks

Published: October 17, 2016

If there is anything that we can learn from the first six weeks of the NFL season, it is that nothing is certain. Let’s look at the Pittsburgh vs. Miami game.

Ben Roethlisberger was the hottest quarterback in the league, yet a knee injury early in the game and a great Dolphins game plan, the Steelers lost big and Big Ben did very little.

In Week 6, we saw several of the league’s top QBs put up mediocre numbers, which affected our rankings:

Aaron Rodgers: 11 points

Andrew Luck: 23 points

Ben Roethlisberger: 9 points

Blake Bortles: 10 points

Tom Brady: 27 points

In Week 6, our predictions will be better, and though nothing is certain, we are pretty confident our picks will put up big stats.

Tom Brady

Two weeks back, and Tom Brady is playing well against the AFC North. Well, Week 6 brings yet another AFC North team and another big game for Brady. Now that Rob Gronkowski is healthy, the dual tight end threat is in full force, and the Patriots offense is almost unstoppable. Throw in that LeGarrette Blount and James White are running the ball well, and you get another Brady-led New England victory.

Matt Ryan

If the Falcons high-powered offense can play well against the Seattle Seahawks, they can torch the San Diego Chargers. Matt Ryan is in MVP form, and after a tough loss to the Seahawks, he and Julio Jones will remind the league just how great they can be.

Andy Dalton

When AJ Green has 10+ catches, the Bengals win, and against the Cleveland Browns, Andy Dalton will feed him the ball, and they will win. Well, that was easy.

Kirk Cousins

The Washington Redskins are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and in Week 7, they will be seeking their fifth straight win. The team in their way: the Detroit Lions. Well, that shouldn’t be too much of an obstacle.

In Week 6, the Lions allowed Case Keenum to score 28 Fantasy points. Cousins is better than Keenum, hence, the top 5 projection.

Eli Manning

This might be a risky pick; however, Odell Beckham Jr.s love affair with the kicking net seems to be getting pretty serious, and that is perfect for Eli Manning. In Week 7, the New York Giants face off against the Los Angeles Rams in London, and Manning will give the British crowd a show.
