Week 7: Top 5 Fantasy Wide Receivers

Published: October 19, 2016

In Week 6, there was a first for an NFL wide receiver. Odell Beckham Jr. proposed to a kicking net. Don’t worry. It said yes.

Well, OBJ is heading overseas this week, and let’s hope he has a big game (or at least talks a big game), or the fans in the UK might not love his as much as we do.

Well, now that we have talked about the “Real Housewives of MetLife,” who will be the top 5 wide receivers in Week 7?

Cameron Meredith

The Chicago Bears offense might not score a lot of points, but they sure do move the ball well. Cameron Meredith plays a big part in that. Over the last two weeks, he has 20 receptions, 243 yards and a touchdown, but that was against two weak defenses. In Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers, Meredith goes up against a tougher defense, but the number of targets he gets makes him a great play.

Mike Evans

The 49ers have a terrible defense. Mike Evans is really good, and that means he will score lots of Fantasy points in Week 7. In addition to his skills, Vincent Jackson was just placed on Injured Reserve, which means one thing: More targets for Evans.

Julio Jones

Julio Jones and Matt Ryan made the Seattle Seahawks look like an average defense. Though the San Diego Chargers had a good game against the Denver Broncos in Week 6, they will not be able to stop Jones.

Odell Beckham Jr.

As we mentioned earlier, OBJ made headlines for proposing the net, but he had a pretty good game too. He has now scored in two straight games, and with a game in London coming up, he is going to make a big splash across the pond.

Eli Manning and Beckham Jr. are great plays this week against the Los Angeles Rams.

A.J. Green

A.J. Green was held in check by the New England Patriots, but the Cleveland Browns will not be able to stop him. When Green has 10 or more catches in a game, the Bengals win. Well, against the Browns, Andy Dalton will feed the ball the Green, and once again, the Bengals will win.
