Week 10: Top 5 Fantasy Football Running Backs

Published: November 09, 2016

Three of our running backs did very well last week. The other two? Well, they did not show up. Here is how our projections did last week:

Ezekiel Elliott: 21 points

Le’Veon Bell: 6 points

Devontae Booker: 2 points

Melvin Gordon: 31 points

Matt Forte: 15 points

So, who are our top 5 running backs this week?

David Johnson

The 49ers have a terrible run defense. In fact, they are on pace to become one of the worst—if not the worst—run defense in NFL history. Well, if you own David Johnson, Week 10 is going to be a big one for your Fantasy team.

Jordan Howard

Jordan Howard cemented his role as the starting running back of the Chicago Bears with a big game against the Minnesota Vikings. After a bye week, Howard should be rested up and ready for a big Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccanneers.

Ezekiel Elliott

After running all over the Green Bay Packers defense, it seems no defense can stop Ezekiel Elliott. Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers defense is another challenge for Elliott, but as long as Dak Prescott continues to feed him the ball, he is going to put up big numbers for the Dallas Cowboys and your Fantasy team.

Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell had a rough game against the Baltimore Ravens, but with a less-than-healthy Ben Roethlisberger, the Ravens defense could focus on Bell. Well, Big Ben will be healthier in Week 10. Bell will have a big game, and he will be the first 100-yard rusher against the Cowboys this season.

Devonta Freeman

The Atlanta Falcons offense is unstoppable, and Devonta Freeman has been a big part of it. Though Freeman is getting lots of touches, he is not getting into the end zone consistently. Well, that will change this week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Freeman will score at least one touchdown this week.
